Frequently Asked Questions

Always best to be prepared.

What do we need to bring?

You should bring a cooler with ice to transport your catch, sunglasses, sunscreen, soft-soled shoes, food and beverages (no glass please), camera and/or video camera, warm clothes and raingear depending on the weather and a Wisconsin fishing license with Great Lakes Trout and Salmon stamp.

Where can we purchase licenses?

Licenses are available on-board the boat. These two day licenses are $14 which includes the stamp. We also sell the Great Lakes Trout and Salmon stamp for $10 should you already have a current fishing license. Licenses can also be purchase at any retailer that provides that service or online at the website.

How many people can go?

Six. The Coast Guard limits the number of customers to six per vessel. Should you have a larger group, we can work with our fellow captains to arrange any additional boats need to accommodate your group. Let us know of your needs and we will take care of the rest.

What about motion sickness?

The water effects everyone differently. If you are uncertain if you are susceptible to motion sickness, we recommend you take dramimine or any other motion sickness remedy at least an hour prior to your trip. We recommend that you come well rested and have a solid meal prior to the trip. Your comfort and satisfaction come first and foremost.
